I have just seen the most wonderful comment from a client after my last post....I gotta get here more often!! She and her little boy are so great and I am HOPING I get to see them this weekend at her sisters who's kids (mom and dad too.....pets...you name it) I will be photographing. I am in for a wonderful time.
It is sooooooooooo rewarding not to mention inspiring, motivating...you name it...being able to do what I have dreamed about doing for so long.
One of the reasons I have not had the chance to update the blog (I really don't like that name......can I call it something else? Any ideas? lemme know melissa@whinneasangels.com ) or my website is I have been really busy primarily with 1 family....it started with the birth of her 5th child!( I just can't imagine...like Thanksgiving at every meal!) and this lil' beautiful baby boy....well not that little....10lbs OUCH. I have seen one other birth of a child and it truly is just so amazing it is hard to find words. ( not ever experiencing it myself it makes it all the more special and miraculous). The mom wanted to see what goes on! Most moms don't get to see, right? I'm sure some folks take photographs but probably not too many. From a few hours after her water broke to about 2 hours after the baby was born....ok, let's see, time....it was of no importance to me so I have to remember.....total of 7 hours....I was able to get some amazing photos. What was also special was her other 4 children...no, they were not in the birthing room besides a few 10 minute visits before and after....they were in the tv room. They are wonderfully well behaved, fun, respectful and not once, got bored, complained, whiny...just amazing kids. And they all get along so well! Needless to say I got some wonderful photos of them too! The most incredible aspect of this day was the mom herself. A wonderful woman (gotta be right? with 5 kids, oldest is 9) who smiled almost the whole time!
After seeing these photos from this great day, mom wanted more so a few days after, on a beautiful sunny day, I went to the house to get them all, outside, with the animals, including "Shot" the guinea pig! With so many images to go through, edit etc, it has been busy. Not to mention getting outside myself to start early on the gardening! :)
So here are a few images. My website will be in the process of being updated starting Sunday. Many will be on the site....don't worry, not the birthing itself. But wait til you see this beautiful baby boy!!!! Oh wait, you can one of him below!

byebye for now.
